The CMA Awards is “Country Music’s Biggest Night™” because it’s the #1 country music awards show on television!
 Over 13 million viewers tuned in for the 2012 ceremony – hosted by Carrie Underwood and Brad Paisley – making it a Top 5 awards show of the year and the #1 special in 4Q’12 among adults 18-49 and 25-54, as well as women 18-49 and 25-54.  The CMA Awards also consistently surpasses the ACM Awards and ACAs on all demographics, with ratings advantages of up to +196%! 

The 47th Annual CMA Awards will honor country music’s top performers, songwriters, record producers and music video directors, as determined by Association’s 6,000 industry professional members. The show will feature performances from top country music stars as well as up-and-coming new artists airing live from the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee.  2012 performers included Eric Church, Faith Hill, Jason Aldean, Keith Urban, Kelly Clarkson, Lady Antebellum, and The Band Perry among many more!
