Show Info -

Created by Agnes Nixon, All My Children premiered on January 5, 1970, and revolves around the lives of the residents of fictional Pine Valley, a town closely resembling the Philadelphia Main Line.

The most popular resident of Pine Valley is arguably daytime television’s most iconic character, Erica Kane (Susan Lucci).

Erica heads up a town full of beloved characters. Among them: resident hero Ryan Lavery (Cameron Mathison), Fusion Cosmetics mavens/frenemies Greenlee Smythe (Rebecca Budig) and Kendall Hart (Alicia Minshew), funnyman Tad Martin (Michael E. Knight), and the endearing romantic duo of Angie and Jesse Hubbard (Debbi Morgan and Darnell Williams).

All My Children received more than 75 Emmy Awards, including Outstanding Drama Series in 1998, 1994 and 1992.  In 2003 the show received 17 Emmy Awards, more than any other daytime drama.

The ABC drama was historically committed to social issues, focusing on such topics as AIDS, teenage alcoholism, spousal abuse, homosexuality, the Iraq War, drug abuse and organ donations.
